SUNONG DUNONG: EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO 
N-SCHOOL PERSONS'S WITH DISABILITY (PWD'S)



Vice Mayor Alex Lubigan gave an inspirational message to the participants.

       The Local Government of Trece Martires City, through City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) gave an educational assistance for the PWD students last February 6, 2014 at the City Hall lobby.
        The said event was attended by 117 PWD students who were granted an amount for their education. The City Vice Mayor, Hon. Alexander Lubigan had also gave an Inspirational message to the participants before releasing the fund.
        Through this activity, one should realize that disabilities are not a hindrance to continue  one’s education and life endeavors.

CSWDO ORIENTS PROGRAM AND SERVICES IN THE BARANGAYS


Orientation of Program and Service with CSWDO & Barangays Officials

      The City Social Welfare and Development, with their commitment to equip knowledge and skills to their partners, conducted a one-day orientation and services in their scheduled barangays.
       Aside from the programs and services orientation, they had also discussed basic referral systems on handling Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) cases, Child In Conflict with Law (CICL) cases and several others. The program started last February 4 in Brgy. De Ocampo and February 6 in Brgy. Hugo Perez. It was then conducted  in  Brgy. San Agustin and Brgy. Osorio last  February 12 and 13 respectively; then Brgy. Gegorio and Lallana last February 18 and 19. It will be continued in March at Brgy. Inocencio (March 4); followed by Brgy. Cabezas and Conchu (March 11) then Brgy. Aguado and Luciano on (March 13) and finally at Brgy. Cabuco and Lapidario (March 14).
      The said activity will help boost public awareness as the services provided by City Social Welfare and Development Office.

CELEBRATING THE SEASON OF LOVE WITH THE ELDERS

Valentines Party Senior Citizen Participants

     The Federation of Senior Citizens Association of Trece Martires City celebrates the season of hearts by organizing a Valentine’s Party for the elderlies last February 14, 2014 at the Provincial Gym.
     It was a romantic, yet fun-filled activity attended by 900 senior citizens in Trece Martires City. The event was graced by Hon. Melandres De Sagun to give his opening remarks followed by dance numbers presented by each barangays. There were also group games, dance numbers, raffles and salo-salo shared and enjoyed by the participants.
      Valentine’s Day does not limit itself to young couples, but rather, it’s a simple reminder that love is timeless and ageless.

LCRO BOOST AWARENESS ON CIVIL REGISTRY


        February of every year has been declared as Civil Registration Month, therefore in line with this, the Local Civil Registrar’s Office (LCRO) plotted their month-long activity with the theme “Ikaw at Ako Tungo sa Wastong Pagrerehistro”
       The month long activity started with their annual motorcade last February 7, 2014. The route starts at NSO Provincial Office, then to Indang, Alfonso, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Magallanes and lastly at Maragondon for a team building /Lakbay-Aral at Andres Bonifacio Shrine. They had also trained LCRO staff on civil registration procedures and related laws last February 21 in Rosario, Cavite with Ms. Loida L. Nueva and Ms. Remedios N. Panganiban as the attendees. The LCRO had also  conducted a free issuance of certificate last February 27. Certificates include certified true copies of civil registry documents such as Certificate of Live Birth, Certificate of Death,  Certificate of Fetal Death, Certificate of Marriage and several others. Lastly, the Kasalang Bayan with the theme Pusong Pinag-isa Para sa Matatag na Pagsasama was held last February 28 at the City Hall. The City Mayor, Hon. Melandres De Sagun commenced and blessed th 49 couples who married in that event.
        The Civil Registration Month was established for the awareness, proper recording and timely registration of civil registry documents. Through this, wrong entries in the various civil registry documents will be avoided.

     The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) is now in process of delivering its services to all employees of this city  to perform their duties and responsibilities according to its function and to serve you better.
       HRMO is now divided into two sections namely:

49 COUPLES VOWED "I DO'S" ON 
THE KASALANG BAYAN 2014


“Pangangaral” from Mayor Melan De Sagun about married life.

          Forty-nine couples were bound by a civil wedding ceremony officiated by Hon. Melandres De Sagun through the effort of Local Civil Registrar and the City Mayor’s Office of Trece Martires City last February 28, 2014 at the Trece Martires City Hall.
       Red is the motif of the said Kasalang Bayan as it symbolizes passionate love and romance which happen to match February: the month of romance. The Local Civil Registrar’s Office gathered all 49 couples through their coordination with each barangay as well as the announcement they made during the flag raising ceremony. The said event also followed the typical reception ceremony: from ceremonial cake cutting, wine toasting, garter retrieval, and dove releasing.The oldest couple enlisted who were David R. Carullo, aged 59 and Teresita Escarillo, aged 61 made the ceremonial cake cutting. The youngest couple, Joeymar Alfaro and Liezel Villanueva, both aged 20 performed the garter ceremony. Mr. And Mrs. Buison, one of the 49 newly-wedded couple, had expressed their utmost gratitude to the city administrators for making the Kasalang Bayan possible, thus, making all of them lawfully married individuals.
       All fees for document processing were free of charge and each couple were given a souviner cake and souviner photographs with Mayor Melan. Globe Telecom had provided photobooth for all couples and their enctourage.
       Mayor Melan De Sagun had also gave an inspirational message to the newly wedded couples about the struggles of married life, for the parents to be a good provider and to promise each other “forever” and mean it.
