ELDERLY MONTH CELEBRATION
 In celebration of Elderly Week the City Government of Trece Martires throught the City Social & Development Office headed by Ms. Nora Delos Santos with the theme “Igalang ang Nakatatanda at ang Kanilang Karapatan” last October 1 – 7, 2015.
The activities for the weeklong celebration includes a Clean and Green project, physical fitness, Thanksgiving Mass, Parade and Motorcade of Si Magandang Lola at Makisig na Lolo candidates, coronation of Si Magandang Lola at Makisig na Lolo and a medical mission. The Organization of the Senior Citizen Association (OSCA) conducted a Barangay Clean and Green project last October 1, 2015. The activity started at 5 AM onwards and it covers the thirteen barangays of Trece Martires City. It was followed by the Federation Clean and Green last October 2, 2015 at 8 AM in the Senior Citizens Office.
On October 3, a Physical Fitness activity was joined by almost 900 OSCA members around 5 AM held at Cavite Provincial Capitol Ground and the meals is sponsored by water district TMC. The Thanksgiving Mass was led by Rev. Fr. Ogie Baas last October 4, it started at 7:20 AM in St. Jude Thaddeus Parish Church.  The Flag Raising Ceremony at the Municipal Hall was also joined by seniors as they presented the candidates of Si Magandang Lola at Makisig na Lolo last October 5, 2015. 
The Coronation Night of Magandang Lola at Makisig na Lolo was held at Cavite Provincial Gymnasium last October 6, 2015. The highlights of the event are : Talent portion, Dance Contest of all barangays,  Gown & Barong Tagalog with   special guest Board Member Irene Bencito of District 7 she is the chairman of Senior Citizen in Cavite. Special Awards: Best in Filipina Attire is Ms. Melba Matiag and Ms. Mila Madrid from Lapindario & Ms. Rosie Cabaya from San Agustin. The Star of the Day is  Ms. Maxima Locero, Best in Talent are Si Makisig na Lolo Mr. Rodrigo Crucillo from Barangay Luciano and Si Magandang Lola Ms. Gloria Destacamento from Barangay Osorio. At the end of the day announcement of winners of Si Magandang Lola at Makisig na Lolo 2015 are: 5th Runner-Up: Ms. Lodivinia Bergado and Mr. Celso Escallar, 4th Runner-Up: Ms. Rosalina P. Leachon and Mr. Antonio Leachon, 3rd Runner-Up: Ms. Feliza Ramos & Mr. Arcadio Colada, 2nd Runner-Up: Ms. Maxima Rodil and Mr. Rodrigo Crucillio, 1st Runner-Up: Ms. Acela Manuel and Mr. Roman Salazar and Si Magandang Lola 2015 Grand Winner Ms. Anita Ferrer & Si Makisig na Lolo 2015 Mr. Rodolfo Umipon.

GRAND FIESTA CELEBRATION
       On the last day of the feast October 28, 2015, the City Government of Trece Martires through the City Mayor’s Office invited the band Silent Sanctuary to entertain the community of Trece Martires, with the participation of Asia’s Got Talent Finalist Mama Mia & Mariko and Keplunk. This event held at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, Trece   Martires started at 7:00 PM onwards. This was the celebration of life and music. Many of Trecenos attended this special event, the said event is one of the Mayor’s Big Night.

“BUHAYIN NATIN ANG LARONG LAHI, ITO ANG LARO NG MGA PINOY”

Palarong Pinoy para sa mga LINGKOD BAYAN NG BARANGAY was held at the Cityhall Grounds it was started at exactly 7:00AM of October 27, 2015.
     Larong Pinoy outreach programs promotes the game play mechanics of the popular traditional Filipino street games game like Agawan Biik, Sack Race (Karera ng Sako), Palo Sebo and Hampas Palayok. There are many benefits that play offers in the lives of Filipino people. It’s healthy as they become physically active; it’s also social, as they build strong camaraderie with their neighborhood friends. 
  We believe that once children learn to play these games it will build wholesome camaraderie among kids in the neighborhood, bring back the fun and enliven communities, at the same time create bonding among parents and grandparents about games they which they are familiar with Agawan Biik two teams competed for our first game (Agawang Biik). 
The winners for Agawang Biik are Mr. Danilo Datapang and Mr. Danty Cebrero from Barangay Osorio (Brgy. Tanod). The winners for female are: Ms. Veronica Alarca (VANC) and Ms. Thess Cortez (Purok Leader) from Brgy. Conchu. 
Second game is Palosebo this game involves a greased bamboo pole that players attempt to climb. The objective of the participants is to be the first person to reach the prize - a Flag - located at the top of the bamboo pole. The winners are: Mr. Antonio Sarmiento and Mr. Hardie Solis from Brgy. Gregorio their time is 4mins and 07sec.  The third game is Sack Race where two teams attempt to complete the course ahead of the other team. The game consists of two (2) Teams. Brgy. Barangay Aguada and Brgy. Cabezas. Fourth game is Hampas Palayok, A player is blindfolded and spun around to create disorientation. A bat or thick stick is placed in the player’s hands. The player then must walk to where the “palayok” is hanging to hit and break the clay pot. The Winner is Mr. Pipoy from Brgy. Aguado. The event was organized by the City Mayor’s Office through the efforts of Mr. Ian Carlo Dimaranan.

MAYOR’S NIGHT RAVE PARTY
A celebration of life, music and water! The night was hyped up with the beats of awesome DJ COOKI of Wowowin with the Special Guest Performance ELEV8 of Walang Tulugan with Master Showman GMA7 and Good Morning Pilipinas of TV5.
Before entering the event grounds, participants need to have their faces colored with blue and red paint. These paint are visible in certain lights and make the event more memorable. The fire truck periodically splashes the party goes while they are dancing and enjoying the music which added to the over-all fun atmosphere.
The Rave Party was held at the Provincial Capitol Ground from 7:00 PM last October 26, 2015. The event was organized by the City Mayor’s Office through the efforts of Mr. Christopher Galpa.

2ND INTERSUBDIVISION BASKETBALL & 
WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT GRAND PARADE & OPENING 

Last October 25, 2015, the City Sports Development Council of Trece Martires headed by Mr. Raymund Eguillos held the 2nd Intersubdivision basketball & women volleyball tournament at the Covered Court of Barangay. Lapidario, Trece Martires City. 

      A grand parade that started at City Hall Building and ended up at Lapidario Covered Court. The thirteen barangays of the Trece Martires sent teams to compete in the men Basketball and women’s volleyball tournament.

     The schedule of elimination round in volleyball will be on October 28 - December 15, 2015, Semi-Finals will be on Deceber 16, 2015 and the finals will be on December 18, 2015. While the schedule of  basketball will be on October 25 -December 16, 2015.

1ST MAYOR MELAN MOTO – CROSS
     In Barangay Conchu at 8am, the empty lot alongside Governor’s Drive was transformed into a motorcross course for the 1st Mayor Melan Moto-Cross Challenge. The empty lot became a complicated course of winding dirt trial with hills, jumps, sharp turns that could turn muddy at the slightest rain. 
     The winners in Trail Category are: Mr. Alexander Aguirre 3rd Placer, Mr.  Elmer Polidraio 2nd Placer and Mr. Joseph Pehaso 1st Placer. The winners in Open Enduro are: Mr. Joseph Isla 3rd Placer, Mr. Kevin Tolentino 2nd Placer and Mr. Don Vollser 1st Placer. The event was organized by the City Mayor’s Office through the efforts of Mr. Greg Isla and Mr. Adrian Dela Cruz.

SAYAWIT TRECEÑO GRAND FINALS
Treceños are multi-talented and what better way to show this than to organize a Song and Dance Contest for the fiesta. "Sayawit Treceño" started at 7PM with 27 contestants: 15 the contestants for the Singing Contest and 12 contestants entered the Dance Contest. 
The criteria for judging in singing are: Voice Quality 50%, Stage Presence & Mastery of Song 40% and Audience Impact 10%. The Criteria for judging in dance are: Choreography 50%, Synchronization, Costume is 40% and Audience impact is 10%.
The panel of judges are Ms. Corazon Dela Cruz, Ms. Daisy Ramirez and Mr. Benjamin Balite they had a difficult time in choosing who will be the winners in dancing and singing. The winners in singing are 2nd Placer is Ms. Ian Ferry Bartolazo, 1st Placer is Ms. Mary Jane Oloteo and champion is Mr. Renz Perez while the winners in dancing are 2nd Placer is IJKL Movers, 1st Placer is Golden Horizon Dancers and the Champion is Damol Treceño.

AERO DANCE FITNESS

On October 24, 2015, Ms. Wenda Perey-Garcia, head of City Nutrition Office, organized the  "Aero Dance Fitness" held  at Provincial Capitol Grounds, Trece Martires City.
The fitness activity were attended by different zumba groups from the 13 barangays in partnership with Amaia Escapes, TMZ Aero Dance Fitness Group and the TMC BNS Federation.
More than 200 participants attended the Aero Dance Fitness from 3:30 - 6:00 PM.

BASIC EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

The City Tourism and Information Office hosted the Basic Event Photography Workshop at the Conference Room of the City Mayor’s Office. The seminar was attended by 50 avid photographers and members of the Trece Photography Club started at 10:30am. The purpose of the event is to enhance the current skills of the assembled photographers, amateur or professionals, to see opportunities to use the techniques and different strategies in different events and conditions. Mr. Joseph Galian is the invited resource speaker for the event.The last part of the event enabled the photographers to test their new-found skills through an on-the-spot photoshoot at the City Forest Park. The female models are Ms. Sydne Buencamiso and Ms. Faith Hope Ocampo wore wedding gowns and the male models are Mr. Lawrence Simon and Mr. Amador L. Barongrong Jr. wore formal suits following a wedding/bridal theme.

“Samahan ninyo kami sa pagdiriwang ng kapistahan ni San Hudas Tadeo at makiisa sa mga inihanda naming kasiyahan para sa inyong lahat”, Mayor Melan said. Three Barangays of Trece Martires celebrated the Feast of St. Jude Thaddeus last October 28, 2015: San Agustin, De Ocampo, and Luciano. The Local Government of Trece Martires through the City Mayor’s Office celebrated the feast of our patron saint with a 5-day long series of activities from October 24-28 2015. The events are : October 24 basic event photography workshop, aero dance fitness, sayawit treceño grand finals, October 25 1st mayor melan moto - cross enduro challenge, 2nd inter subdivision basketball & women’s volleyball tournament grand parade and opening, October 26 mayor’s night rave party,  October 27 karakol, palarong pinoy, October 28 grand fiesta celebration.
