INTER-DEPARTMENT COMPETITION



Barangay Captains, Mayor Melan De Sagun & City Councilors.



                  At 1pm the employees of the city government had the chance to street their stuff for the Inter Department Competition at the Provincial Capitol Ground last May 24, 2014. After weeks of  intense brainstorming, meetings and grueling practice sessions their hard work paid off with the high energy performance of their chosen 60’s moves. Mayor Melan and the city officials had the time of their lives watching the performance of each group. Small divisions and offices were agglomerated to form a big group to compete with bigger departments.

           The heartstoping numbers were judged by Mr. Henn Dimayuga, Mr. Arman Aton & Ms. Vilma Buladas.

      The criteria for judging are Performance 60% (creativity, spacing, showmanship, attire, entertainment value, & variety of styles) Skills 40% (musicality, timing, execution & difficulty of styles) for total of 100%.

            The winner’s in 2nd Place: City Planning & Development Office, 1st Place: City Mayor’s Office, Over-all champion is Civil Security Unit. The group composed of the City Tourism & Information Office (CTIO)/ City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO)/Public Employment Service Office (PESO) & Human Resourses Management Office (HRMO) bagged the Best in Costume Award from Smart Communication.

STREET DANCING COMPETITION

           The celebration of the city’s 60th Founding Anniversary started with a Thanks Giving Mass at St. Jude Thaddeus Church with the city officials and employees in attendance. By 9am the street dancing competition was in full swing with 13 groups wing for the prize. The participating group came from:  Barangay Aguado, Barangay De Ocampo, Barangay Gregorio, Barangay Inocencio, Barangay Lapidario, Barangay Luciano, Barangay Osorio, Barangay Hugo Perez, Barangay San Agustin, Trece Martires City National High School, Trece Martires City District Office, Home Owner Association Barangay Inocencio, and Trece Martires City Water District.

            According to Mr. Albert Ararao the person incharge of the event, the criteria for judging are: Performance 60% (creativity, spacing, showmanship, attire, entertainment value, & variety of styles) Skills 40% (musicality, timing, execution & difficulty of styles) for total of 100%.

             The three judges had a difficult time choosing a winner because of the degree of complexity of the performance of the groups. The 2nd Placer is Barangay De Ocampo, 1st Placer is Trece Martires City Water District and Best in Costume & Over-all Champion is Barangay San Agustin.

MUTYA NG TRECE 2014 PRE-PAGEANT ACTIVITIES


 The Executive Committee interviewed 18 hopefuls during 2 day open   
screening on April 21-22, 2014.


The orientation and contract signing in the City Mayor’s Office 
was led by Mr. Richard R. Lumandas.




The Personality Development Seminar with Ms. Goldy Baroa
 was a tiring but fun event.




Trece Photography Club members with the official candidates 
during the beauty shots pictorial.




The girls strike a pose at the end of the Pre-pageant Competition 
at Provincial Capitol Ground.





The candidates were presented to the city government 
during the Flag Raising Ceremony.





A day of giving and sharing with the kids at 
the Missionaries of Charity Brothers.





Lanelle’s Skin Care, one of the sponsors, gave a seminar on 
maintaining beautiful glowing skin at the Session Hall.




The candidates gracing the grand opening of “Lanelle’s”  at Dionets Building.




Enhancing the face through make-up was  introduced to the candidates
by a representative   of Mary kay.

Elegance is the key in wearing the evening gown sponsored by Twinkles Wedding Library.



Best in Talent, Best in Evening Gown, Best in Retro is Ms. Vanessa Coronado together 
with Hon. Venancio Gatdula & Ms. Jimiko Dublin Mutya ng Trece 2013 1st Runner Up.


Globe & Smart Texter’s Choice Award, Ms. Lanelle, Best in Swimwear is Ms. Rycca Timog together with Hon. Carlito Villanueva, Hon. Denver Colorado & Ms. Jasmine Bencito Mutya ng trece 2012.



Ms. Wilma Paiton with Mr. Christopher Galpa, Hon. Romeo De Sagun & Mr. Eroll Feranil. When she won Ms. Photogenic.





Ms. JCI Ambassadress & Ms. Congeniality is  Ms. Michelle Moises awarded by Mr. Christopher Galpa.




The Ms. Mary Kay Award goes to Ms. Angely Clodeen Hadap of Brgy. Lapidario.

MISS. VANESSA CORONADO THE NEW MUTYA NG TRECE 2014


Mayor Melan De Sagun & Mrs. Aiza De Sagun awarding prizes to Ms. Vanessa Coronado.

           Ms. Vanessa Coronado from Barangay De Ocampo dazzled the  audience and the judges with her beauty and wit that earned her the Mutya ng Trece 2014 crown.
                 
           All the 12 candidates showed grace and glamour in the coronation night to the delight of the boisterous crowd that packed the Provincial Gymnasium last May 24, 2014. Crowning a new set of winners was the culminating event of the 60th Foundation day of Trece Martires City.

         Mayor Melan De Sagun expressed his appreciation to all the Treceños for their continued support to all his programs for the city. He also promised to expect more progress and development as Trece Martires continue to forge a more accountable, transparent and efficient government.

      Mayor Melan asserts that he will continue to boost development for the city to ensure employment and economic growth.
