FEDERATION OF SENIOR CITIZEN ASSOCIATION CHRISTMAS PARTY

      Last December 15, 2014 Federation of Senior Citizen of Trece Martires City held the General Assembly & Christmas Party at De Ocampo Covered Court that attended by 2,250 registered senior citizen with City Councilor Aldrin Anacan & Abet Montehermoso.

        Most of Senior Citizen are most often faced which problems of loneliness, feeling of usefulness, a need of occupation suitable to the liability, need for social contact, guidance and leisure time activities. CSWD held this event to develop their self-confidence to encourage to show their initiative & creativity and help them to become participating members of the community and society as well.

 PERSON’S WITH DISABILITY (PWD’S) GENERAL ASSEMBLY &CHRISTMAS PARTY

        Last  December 11, 2014 City Social Welfare & Development Office headed by Ms. Nora Delos Santos held the Person with Disability (PWD’s) General Assembly & Christmas Party at City Hall Compound, Trece Martires City. Almost 800 PWD’s & Escort/Guardian attended the event together with Mayor Melan De Sagun, Vice Mayor Alex Lubugan, City Councilors, former Mayor Jun Sagun and Guest of Honor Congressman Luis “Jon-Jon”  Ferrer. The children had fun with the clowns, magician, ice cream, cotton candy, mascot and balloons which was organized by the CWSDO. During the program, Mayor Melan De Sagun gave the allowances for the Sunong Dulong program benefeficiaries.

         The advocacy of this  campaign is to focus on legislation for the policies and guidelines for the welfare of people with disability and help people with disabilities understand and accept the mandates stipulated in every PWD related policies. This  will alleviate the awareness of PWD to learn and to utilize all their potentials resources for the development of PWD within the city.

CITY HALL BUILDING RENOVATION   

      “Ang pagkakaroon ng maayos, maaliwalas at kaaya - ayang tanggapan ang nais natin para sa ating opisyal at kawani,” ani ni Mayor Melan. Ang kasalukuyang ginagawang extension sa ikalawang palapag ng cityhall ay ang tanggapan ng Ikalawang punong lungsod. Ito ay sinimulan noong October 2014 at inaasahang matatapos sa Pebrero 2015. Ito ay may lawak na 180 square meters na maglalaman ng Vice Mayor’s Office, Conference Room, Staff Area, kitchen at receiving area para sa mga mamamayan.

      Ang lahat ng mga pintuan ay salamin upang mapatuloy ang maaliwalas na kapaligiran. Inaasahan din ang pagsasaayos ng covered court sa likod sa susunod na taon.

      Makikita sa larawan ang ilang pagbabago sa cityhall building habang ito ay ginagawa.

MAPAGBIGAY ALAB (MAHARLIKA SHRINE CLUB) AT

 TMC  LOGDE # 350 NAMIGAY NG WHEEL CHAIR

          Bilang pagkalinga sa ating mga minamahal na kalunsod na hindi makalakad, namigay ng wheel chair ang mga miyembro ng Mapagbigay Alab Shrine Club at TMC Lodge # 350 ( Free and Accepted Masons ) nitong nakaraang Nobyembre 2014, kasabay ng lingguhang pagpupugay sa watawat ng mga kawani ng lungsod. Ang ating Punong Lunsod Melandres De Sagun ay Pangalawang Pangulo sa Class Mapagbigay Alab, ang kilalang Actor na si Diether Ocampo ang tumatayong Pangulo nito. Si Mayor Melandres De Sagun ay kaanib din ng TMC Lodge  # 350 (Free and Accepted Masons).

        Kasama rin sa larawan sina Bros. Jun Navarro, Zaldy Cruzata, WM Bernie Pau, Boy Mercado, Nico Pilapil, Ms. Nora Delos Santos, Ms. Lucy Agraba ng CSWD, Vice Mayor Alex Lubigan, Ed Barican, Rossel  Sinsay, Bernard Cubol, CPDC at Past Master Alberto Ararao, Noble  Jeff Ferrer (kinatawan ni Pres. Diether Ocampo) at Ed Torrecamada. Isa sa pangunahing layunin ng Shrine Club ay matulungan ang mga batang lumpo o Crippled Children.

2014 BRIGADA ESKWELA, PINARANGALAN

         “Isang mahalagang pagkilala sa ating pagtutulungan at koorperasyon ang parangal na ito,” ayon kay Mayor Melandres de Sagun  tinanggap na award para sa Brigada Eskwela 2014.

      Ang Brigada Eskwela ay taon - taong ginagawa ng pampublikong paaralan elementarya at highschool  bago magsimula ang pasukan, sa tulong ng ating punong lungsod na si Mayor Melan de Sagun, pangalawang punong lungsod na si Vice Mayor Alexander Lubigan at mga konsehal ng bayan ng mga pribadong sektor, mga mag-aaral, magulang at volunteers.

Dahil dito noong ika-26 ng Nobyembre sa Meralco Theater, Meralco Compound Pasig City pinangaralan ng “Hall of Fame Award” ang Trece Martires City Elementary School Division of Cavite, Region IV-A.

        Makikita sa larawan na dinaluhan ito nila G. Christopher Galpa(Executive Assistant II), Kgg. Lito Villanueva, Kgg. Carlito Aure, Kgg. Venancio Gatdula, Kgg. Rona Bago, Dr. Josefa Co, punong guro na sina Gng. Helen Aure at Gng. Constancia Luclucan at kasama ang ilang guro ng elementarya at high school.

WEST CAVITE SPORTS UNIT ’14,
 NAGTAGUMPAY SA TULONG NG MGA TRECEÑO

Mayor Melan De Sagun promotes camaraderie as one of the essentials of sports events .

Mayor Melan De Sagun, together with Mrs, Constancia Luclucan, Dr. Jose Co and Dr. Rodolfo Cruz,   raises the WCSU flag.

          “Ang palarong ito ay isang magandang oportunidad para sa mga batang manlalaro na mahasa at mapalawak pa ang kanilang kasanayan sa isports na kanilang kinabibilangan, gayundin mas mapapataas nito ang kompiyansa ng manlalaro”., Ayon kay Melandrez De Sagun, alkalde ng lunsod ng Trece Martires.

 “Matutulungan din nitong maiiwas ang mga kabataan sa mga masasamang bisyo o sa mga  hindi magagandang gawain dahilan ito upang makuha nyo ang aking  suporta sa anumang kailangan ng palarong ito,” dagdag pa  niya.

Sa pakikiisa at pakikipagtulungan ng Pamahalaan ng Lungsod ng Trece Martires City, tagumpay na naisagawa ang West Cavite Sports Unit 2014 na pinangunahan ng Trece Martires City National High School mula ika-16 hanggang 18 ng Oktubre.Kaugnay nito, upang masiguro ang kaligtasan ng mga manlalaro at mga opisyal, naglaan ng mga police officers at mga barangay tanod ang pamahalaang lungsod. Gayundin, nagpadala ng mga ambulance at rescue personnel sa bawat lugar na pinagdausan ng mga palaro upang mapaghandaan ang anumang aksidente na maaring maging  kaakibat ng laro.

Bahagi din ng tulong na ibinigay ng pamahalaan ang mga uniform para sa mga manlalaro at opisyal kasama na ang pagpapagamit ng sports facilities ng bawat barangay para sa mas organisadong pagpapatakbo ng nasabing paligsahan.

Naging bahagi rin sa WCSU ang ilang opisyales ng pamahalaan kasama ang ilang punong guro at superbisor ng bawat distrito sa pangunguna nina Dr. Josefa Co ,District Supervisor ( Elementary) Dr. Rodolfo D. Cruz, EPS II- MSEP/MAPEH kasama ang ilang  opisyal ng lokal ng lunsod ng pamahalaan ng Trece Martires.

Nagpakitang gilas ang 6 na distrito mula sa iba’t ibang paaralan ng General  Trias , Tanza, Naic , Maragondon , Ternate, at Trece Martires City.

                        TRECE MARTIRES, SUNCHEON CITY SISTER CITIES

              “Our official visit to Suncheon will pave the way for a stronger relationship between our two cities”, stated Mayor Melan De Sagun during their 6-day tour of South Korea.

             Trece  Martires City delegates to the 16th Suncheon Bay Reeds Festival marks the initiatives of b0th cities to forge a sisterhood agreement within the next year.

             Suncheon City located in the province of Jeollanam-do is a city of 250,000 with a total land area of 907.2 km². Suncheon City is the ecological capital of South Korea with the Suncheon Bay Garden Expo as the major tourist destination protecting the wild life of Suncheon Bay. The Suncheon City Hall Building is only three storeys high but employs 1800 people. Employees work in shifting schedules. During holidays, evenings and weekends, electronic kiosk are opened to ensure continued provision of services to the residents.
