NUTRITION MONTH KICK-OFF

Hindi naging hadlang ang malakas na pag-ulan sa pagsisimula ng taunang selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Nutrisyon sa Lunsod ng Trece Martires noong Ika-6 ng Hulyo, 2015. Ang tema sa ika-41 selebrasyon ng Nutrition Month ay "Timbang iwasto sa tamang nutrisyon at ehersisyo. Kasabay ng linguhang pagpupugay sa watawat ang buong City Nutrition Council suot ang kanilang nutrition month t-shrit. 

Ang kulay berde ay sumisimbulo sa ating pagkilala sa kahalaghahan ng "green leafy    vegetables" at prutas sa ating araw-araw na pagkain upang makamit ang tamang nutrisyon. Tampok din sa araw na iyon ang buong pwesra ng Barangay Nutrition Scholar na naghandog ng isang pampasiglang bilang para sa lahat ng empleyado. Bilang bahagi ng mga gawain sa buwan ng nutrisyon naglagay din ng mga tarpulin sa piling mga lugar upang makita ng mas nakakarami ang tema ng selebrasyon.

Ilan sa mga inaantabayanang aktibidad ay ang: Poster Making Contest para sa elementarya at high school sa publiko at pribadong paaralan, Nutri-Quizbee Contest para sa mga mag-aaral ng elementarya, Busog sa Nutrsiyon at Sayawan na isang fund-raising para sa mga BNS ng lunsod at ang Malusog na katawan dahil sa Sayaw na gaganapin isa ika-31 ng Hulyo sa Brgy Inocencio. Sa katapusan din ng buwan gaganapin ang pinakahihintay na paggawad ng mga parangal sa natatanging barangay para sa nutrisyon at ang natatanging Barangay Nutrition Scholar.

NUTRITIONAL ASSESSMENT OF NUTRITION TEAM

Noong Ika-9 ng Hulyo, 2015 naganap ang Nutritional Assessment of Nutrition Team in          cooperation with PHO - Cavite & NDAP Cavite Chapter held at Korea - Philippines Friendship      hospital lobby.

Ang Bilang ng BNS: Aguado - 6, Cabezas - 2, Cabuco - 3, Conchu  - 2, De Ocampo - 3,  Gregorio - 2, Inocencio - 6, Lallana - 1, Lapidario - 3, Luciano - 4, Osorio - 3, Hugo Perez - 7, San Agustin - 3 na may kabouan 45 kasama rin ang staff ng nutrition na 3.

KUMAIN NG WASTO, MAGING AKTIBO

"Malaking bahagi ng ating pang araw-araw na gawain ang maging aktibo at kumain ng tama", ani ni Mayor Melan De Sagun.

Nakatuon ngayon ang selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Nutrisyon sa pagwawasto ng timbang sa pamamagitan ng nutrisyon at ehersisyo. Bagama't  hindi na bagong pananaw ito, nakakaligtaan pa rin ng nakakarami ang  pangangalaga at pagmintina ng tamang timbang.

Sa kasalukuyan karamihan sa ating kinakain ay naprosesong pagkain: hotdog, de lata, o di kaya'y pagkain sa mga fastfood na mataas ang lebel ng kolesterol. Nakakalimutan na natin ang kahalagahan ng pagkain ng gulay at prutas dahil sa dami ng ating trabaho at gawaing bahay. Ang ganitong pangyayari ay nagaganap sa karamihan sa miyembro ng pamilyang Pilipino na lalong nagpapalala sa pagiwas sa mga gawaing pisikal. Ang resulta ay tumataas ang ating timbang at nangongolekta tayo ng samu't saring mga sakit at nararamdaman na hindi  maalwan sa katawan.

Muling hinihikaya't ng pamahalaang lunsod ang bawat isa na maging aktibo at yakapin ang "healthy lifestyle". Simulan na natin ngayon at iwasan natin ang mahal na pagpapagamot sa ospital sa hinaharap.

LGU-TMC ANNUAL BOSS

          The Business Permit and License Division of the City Government of Trece Martires City had made their final call for the renewal of permits and transport services through Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) last January 5-20, 2015 at the City Hall Lobby.

       BOSS is the simplified registration process that gives convience for all applicants for like business permits, tricycle franchise, transport services, number of MP-delivery truck, wiring permits, mayor’s permit and several other special permits. For the duration of the BOSS all offices and attached agencies necessary are gathered together in the lobby of the city hall. Additionally, those who were able to process their documents on the said date were entitled to have 10% discount on the processing fees.

        According to the tally made by the Business Permit License Division (BPLD) during BOSS, there are 75 new business permits, over 1,478 renewed business permit and 70 businesses for closure. Tricycle franchise numbered 161 for new franchise, 1,807 for renewal and 129 for cancelled. There are 3 new and 55 renewal in terms of transport services and total of 10 number of MP-Delivery trucks.There is also grand total of 80 wiring permits (all for residential).  Special permit on the other hand has an overall number of 46, majority are peddlers. Lastly, Mayor’s permit had the least number of applicant, for only 4 applying for a residential building permit.

       The given figures had shown that BOSS had been favored by most Treceños because of its simplicity, convenience and effiency in handling important business transactions.

The Business One Stop Shop Operation

This  year the process of serving a business permit was streamlined to five steps, which are:

1. Serve business application at the Business Permit License Office (BPLO).

2. Submit the business application with all the requirements at Business Permit License Office    (BPLO) and seek for    assessment of all taxes.

3. Pay and serve the Fire Safety Inspection Certification/Clearance.

4. Pay all fees and taxes including arrears and seek the City Treasurer’s clearance/approval.

5. Submit all documents and Official Receipts to Business Permit License Office (BPLO) and receive the Mayor’s Permit and  Business Plates.

The Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) also includes the renewal of Tricycle Franchises in the City.

PANTAWID PAMILYANG PILIPINO PROGRAM (4P’S) 

PARENT LEADERSHIP TRAINING & GENERAL ASSEMBLY

     Last December 20, 2014 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4P’s) - Parent Leadership Training & General Assembly was held at Cityhall Lobby. The Participants are 13 Barangay’s Parent Leader (Cluster Head) and was organized by the City Social Welfare Development Office.

      The Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program or known as  4P’s is a poverty reduction and social development program of the National Government that provides additional cash grants to extremely poor household to improve their Health, Nutrition and Education. CSWDO held this event to increase  awareness of  their roles and responsibility within the group, conduct leadership capability seminar in handling their groupmates, issues and concerns, problems encountered within the group or mediation skills.

SOLO PARENT GENERAL ASSEMBLY 

& CHRISTMAS PARTY

         Last December 16, 2014 the Solo Parent General Assembly & Christmas Party was held at the Session Hall that was attended by 200 registered Solo Parents in Trece Martires City. The Program was spearheaded by the Committee of Social Welfare, Health & Nutrition  Councilor Angelito “Lito” Villanueva.

         The event is goal is to lessen the burden of solo parenting and ensure that the children of solo parents the opportunity for a better future.

       The main objective of it is to know of the comprehensive package of services for Solo Parents & their children. The Solo Parent Assembly is a project that gives opportunities  for Solo Parents to learn the  Livelihood Services and Employment Related Benefits.

         In this picture Vice Mayor Alexander Lubigan gave his inspirational message to the attendies.
