TRECEÑO MEMORIAL PARK

      “This memorial park is my dream project for the Treceños. Today, this dream will be a reality” Mayor Melan stated last January 8, 2016 at Barangay Aguado during the Ground Breaking Ceremony.  
        Mayor Melan De Sagun was joined by Vice Mayor Alex Lubigan, all City Councilors, Barangay Captains, department heads, and division heads of the Local Government. Our parish friest Fr. Agustin “Auggie” M. Baas blessed the site for the future memorial park. Which was followed by a meaning-full message from Mayor Melan De Sagun. The City Officials and Department Heads then laid the capsule in the ground which contains of a copy of the Treceño Memorial Park plan. The program ended of the prospective Park. 
     The Treceño Memorial Park has a total land area of 9.6 hectares. The park boasts a 216 slot parking lot; a 12 meters wide main minor roads of 5.0 meters wide with 1.20 meters sidewalk all equipped with solar powered lighting facilities; an entrance gate with security cabin; 203 units mausoleum lots of 30 square meters each; 2,047 units of 6.0 square meters lots only, 5,620 units of lawn lots; 18,342 units of apartment type niches, pet cemetery for animal lovers; angel’s paradise; three public comfort rooms for mens and women strategically located within the area; a 200 seating capacity circular chapel; a 2-storey columbarium and crematory building; an engineering and maintenance yard and a 2-storey administration and funeral chapels building with an admin office, stock room, security office, restrooms; and 20 funeral rooms of 50 square meters each with adjustable partitions. The main focal point of the memorial park will be its emblem on the center of a rotonda at the main entrance. All utilities are designed for underground construction and installations. 
     The entire proposed park is designed as a modern and complete memorial park that will solve the problem of lack of space for interment due to the fast growing population of the city.

 CITY SOCIAL WELFARE & DEVELOPMENT OFFICE NEWS 
The City Social Welfare and Development Office organized a Christmas Party/General Assembly for the Senior Citizens, Person with Disability (PWD’s) and Parent Leader.  The First event, held last December 08, 2015 was  the Senior Citizen Quarterly Payout held at the Session Hall. The Senior Citizens received Php. 500 per month to help them in their daily needs. Almost 200 beneficiaries of Senior Citizens Indigent from the Local Government Unit (LGU) attended. The Second event held lastDecember 15 was the 2015 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4P’s) – Parent Leadership Training & General Assembly was held at the City Forest Park. The participants are 700 parent leader (Cluster Head) with the City Councilors together with Brgy. Captain Remigio “Tabok” Dilag. The Third event held last December 16, 2015 by the City Social Welfare & Development Office and with the help of Cong. Luis Ferrer, IV was the Person with Disability (PWD’S) General Assembly & Christmas Party at Trece Martires City Elementary School. During the program they distributed Ice Creams and kit from Unilever and Cong. Luis Ferrer, IV gave Educational Assistance for the Sunong Dulong beneficiaries to the 1,000 PWD’s. The Fourth event, December 17, 2015 Waltermart Trece sponsored the Pamaskong Handog para sa mga PWD with almost 1000 PWD’s attendees. And lastly on December 22, 2015, The Federation of Senior Citizen of Trece Martires City held the General Assembly & Christmas Party at Amore Auditorium that was attended by 1,300 registered senior citizen with the City Councilors together with Brgy. Captain Remigio “Tabok” Dilag.

MANG INASAL TRECE GRAND OPENING AT TOWER MALL
      Mang Inasal Tower Mall officially opened their doors in a grand opening ceremony last December 23, 2015. Rev. Fr. Orlie Jimenez blessed the establishment followed by the unveiling of the Ceremonial Bilao by the franchisees, Mayor  Melan de Sagun and Aiz de Sagun with Mang Inasal Area and Operations Managers.

LGU-TMC CHRISTMAS PARTY 2015
      “Ang assembly na ito ay di lamang sa attendance at manalo sa raffle. Ang maitaguyod ang inyong pamilya sa isang tapat na hanapbuhay ang mahalaga. Kaya’t ngayong Pasko ang aking regalo sa maswerteng empleyado ay isang Multi-cab na maaring magamit pang negosyo,‘’ Mayor Melan stated in his inspirational message during the Employees Annual Assembly last December 23, 2015 entitled "A Most  Desirable and Seductive Christmas Party" at City Hall Compound, Trece Martires City.
     The Assembly started with the entrance of all employees led by their department heads for the preliminary judging. The opening prayer was lead by Mr. Kuthberto Ducay. Vice Mayor Alex Lubigan gave his greeting followed by Mayor Melan’s Christmas message. 
     The highlights of the Employees Assembly is the raffle draw for the both casual and permanent employees, The raffle draw prize include 7 Flat Iron, 11 Cordless Kettle, 29 Groceries, 9 Gas Stove, 8 Rice Cooker, 9 Oven Toaster, 3 Stand Fan and 5 gadgets. For the major prizes, 23 employees won cash price, 7 Television, 3 Home Theater, 2 Washing Machine, 5 won P5, 000.00 cash from Vice Mayor Alex Lubigan and the Multicab for the grandwinner from Hon. Melandres de Sagun.
    The special award for the Face of the Day was given to Mr. Ian Carlo P. Dimaranan of City Mayor’s Office and Ms. Analiza L. Arbues of City Vice Mayor’s Office, Mr. Jojo Bragais and Ms. Marian Colorado awarded as Star of the Night, the City Treasurer’s Office won the Best in Costume Award, Ms. Teresa Masangcay won the People’s Choice Award, Mr. John Neri Dela Paz won the Sexiest Leg Award, Mr. Efren Herrera and Ms. Remy Panganiban for the May Asim Pa Award, and Ms. Kim Rodriguez and Ms. Loida won P5, 000.00 for the Best Photo Award. Mr. Jojo Bragais hosted the general  assembly.
