The City Government of Trece Martires commemorated the 199th Death Anniversary of the Thirteen Martyrs of Cavite with a weeklong activity which included a job fair, Thanksgiving Mass, the re - enactment of the execution of the Thirteen Martyrs, and wreath laying at the Bantayog ng Labintatlong Martir ng Cavite and a Zumbathon.
The PESO staffs organized a job fair last September 11, 2015 at Walter Mart Trece Martires under the supervision of PESO Manager Ms. Necy Abestro. Twenty companies had participated on the activity such as Abenson Ventures, Walter Mart Supermarket, NCST, Fresh N' Famous/Greenwich and Mirof Services. A total of 315 applicants have registered and 75 persons were hired on the spot. The job fair started at 9 AM and ended at 2 PM.
On September 12, at *am Thanksgiving Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Ogie Baas, Parish Priest caught the audience with this funny & inspirational sermon. Followed by the re-enactment of the death of the Thirteen Martyrs of Cavite which was performed by selected students from Trece Martires City National High School (TMCNHS) and the offering of the wreath of flowers at the statue of the Thirteen Martyrs last September 12, 2015.
The final event was a Zumbathon was participated in by almost 100 people from BNS and Zumba moms from different barangay Amaia Escapes sponsored the event which coincided with their open house fr the new residential subdivision in Barangay Conchu.
This year's theme for the Zumbathon is "Malusog na Katawan Dahil sa Sayawan"
