BUSINESS ONE STOP SHOP

 The Business One Stop Shop Operation
          
           From January 4, 2016 to January 20, 2016, business owners from the lowly sari-sari store to big corporation flocked to the lobby of the City Hall Building for the Annual Business One Stop Shop (BOSS).
         BOSS is the simplified registration that gives convenience for all applicants in services like Business Permits, Tricycle Franchise, Transport Services, number of MP-delivery truck, Wiring Permit, Mayor’s Permit and several other special permits because all offices and attached agencies necessary are gathered together in the lobby of the City Hall.
         According to the tally made by the Business Permit License Division (BPLD) during BOSS, there are 20 new business permits, over 1580 renewed business permit and  32 business closure were processed during the said period. Tricycle franchise numbered 216 for new franchise, 2,089 for renewal and 152 for cancelled. There are 4 new and 67 renewal in terms of transport services and total of 7 MP-delivery truck. There is also grand total of 76 wiring permits (75 for residential and 1 for commercial). Special permits on the other hand has an overall of 27 peddlers, and lastly, Mayor’s Permit had the least number of applicants, with 2 for applying residential and 4 for commercial building permit.
        The given figures had shown that BOSS had been favored by most Treceños because of its simplicity, convenience and efficiency in handling important business transactions.

 
5 STEPS IN GETTING BUSINESS PERMIT

The process of serving a business permit was streamlined to five steps, which are:
  1. Serve business application at     the Business Permit License Office (BPLO).
  2. Submit the business application with all the requirements at Business Permit License Office (BPLO) and seek for assessment of all taxes. 
  3. Pay and serve the Fire Safety Inspection Certification/Clearance.
  4. Pay all fees and taxes including arrears and seek the City Treasurer’s clearance/approval.
  5. Submit all documents and Official Receipts to Business Permit Licenses Office (BPLO) and receive the Mayor’s Permit and Business Plates.
The Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) also includes the renewal of Tricycle Franchises in the City.
