MEDICAL SURGICAL MISSION
Medical professionals assembled to start the program proper
The Philippine Medical Association of Chicago, in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Cavite had successfully conducted a medical outreach program at the City Session Hall last January 27, 2014.
The City of Trece Martires is one of the three LGU chosen venue in Cavite for the three day medical surgical mission of the said organization with an aim of providing free quality health care to its citizens. Doctors and volunteers had teamed up with the Provincial Health Office assisted by City Health Office - TMC; to line up 28 health professionals: 16 physicians and 12 nurses on duty from FEU Medical University - Medical Alumni Association of Northern Illionois
The medical mission provided medical services for children (pediatrics), adults (general /family medicine), senior citizens (ophthalmology) and expectant mothers (Obstetrics & Gynecology) for an estimated 838 TreceƱos. Surgical mission followed after the medical (out-patient) tests between January 28-29 at the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital.
The Local Government Unit of Trece Martires City is very fortunate to have this undertakings from the Filipino professionals of Chicago, Illinois.
